The Wild Chef - Sean CarterWild Fig head chef (& really nice guy) Sean Carter has been cooking for as long as he can remember. He brings to the Fig a passion for food & a flare for flavours that has wowed our customers with menus of gorgeous design & fresh clean flavours. Trained in Italian & French fine dining, Sean has a love for colours, fresh produce & funky ideas. Inspired by Maggie Beer (for her talent with classic flavours), Gordon Ramsay (for his passion & business savvy) & Antonio Carluccio (for his love of all that is Italian), Sean is a grounded kitchen leader with a wealth of experience.A thirst for knowledge & a craving for creativity has Sean constantly experimenting with new & interesting ways to create & prepare food. His goal is to take the Fig up to the next level of plating & food design without losing our roots- fresh, unpretentious food. Sean also aims to develop a greater understanding of food allergies & to offer a delicious option for all dietary requirements. With a wicked (however black) sense of humour (yes, he is responsible for some of the more interesting names on the menu) Sean is an amazing part of the Fig team. His favourite Fig dish? The Freckly Fig!- Janine CosgroveJanine's smiley, freckly face and Scottish accent has been at the Fig for some time now as a duty manager. She has recently stepped up to take the helm as our new operations manager. Janine has many years of experience in hospitality and a warm, fuzzy way of making all our customers feel relaxed and spoilt. An ambitious and self motivated leader, Janine shares the values of the Fig and can be found serving and chatting to Fig customers most days of the week. Photo coming soon....
